2009 Through Women’s Eyes, By Women’s Hands (invitation-only)
The Women’s Center (Chapel Hill)

  • Bridal Veil Falls was one of approximately 45 images exhibited as part of a non-juried, invitation-only group show called 2009 Through Women’s Eyes, By Women’s Hands, sponsored by and benefitting The Women’s Center (a United Way charity).
  • The show opened with a reception on March 6, 2009, and I’m pleased to report that my print sold on opening night!
  • The show was displayed for public viewing for 30 days, including the 2nd Friday Art Walk in Chapel Hill, NC, on March 13, 2009.

CNPA Group Show (non-juried)
North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences (Raleigh)

  • Cullasaja Falls and Camellia Japonica were 2 of approximately 20-25 images in a non-juried group show by members of the Carolinas’ Nature Photographers Association (CNPA).
  • Exhibit was shown in the museum’s Nature Art Gallery.

  • Peek-a-boo was entered into the “Professional” category of the photography competition at the 2007 NC State Fair and was exhibited. This category is juried, and only the judge’s choices are hung and exhibited during the fair.

  • Horaltic Pose and Take-Off were 2 of approximately 50 images in a non-juried group show by members of the Carolinas’ Nature Photographers Association (CNPA).

  • Peek-a-boo was selected as an Honorable Mention in the juried Best Personality category.
  • Peek-a-boo is 3rd from the bottom in the 2007 PhotoWild! Showcase.
  • Horaltic Pose, Peek-a-boo, and Take-Off were displayed in this non-juried group show, exhibited at the Wooden Stone Gallery.
  • All prints were donated to the Carolina Raptor Center. 100% of the proceeds from the sales of my prints entered in this show went entirely to this non-profit wildlife rehabilitation center.

  • Green Frog was juried into this show and exhibited from May 26 through July 22, 2006 at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California.
