Pretty Peacock Pendant

Hello! Today I’d like to share a pretty peacock pendant with you!

To make this pendant, you will need a 1″ square piece of Stampbord. Spray the Stampbord with Vibrant Turquoise Dylusions Ink Spray and allow to dry. Use VersaMark watermark ink to stamp and then emboss the design using white embossing powder.

Use Claudine Hellmuth Studio Multi-Medium in gloss as a sealer. This is a very important step, since Dylusions ink sprays react with water. If left unsealed, the color could run if the pendant got wet. Allow the sealer to dry. Apply two coats if desired.

Color the edges of the pendant using a black permanent marker, such as a Faber-Castell Pitt Pen with a brush tip. Attach an aanraku bail using E6000 adhesive and allow the adhesive to dry. Then add the pendant to the necklace of your choice.

The final pendant is water resistant, but not waterproof, and should not be worn in the rain if possible. Clean with a soft cloth, but avoid washing.

Thanks for stopping by!
