Textured Blues Card

Hello! Welcome to 2013!

Wishing you and yours a healthy, prosperous, fun-filled New Year!

Have you set any goals for the coming year?

I hope you’ve included at least one creative and/or artistic goal!

I’m planning to continue working to build Creative Spirit U and to develop my own online classes. This is my big scary dream goal, and for now, one is enough for me!

Treat yourself with kindness

As you plan your goals for 2013, I would suggest that you treat yourself with kindness. It’s great to have challenging stretch goals that keep you interested and motivated. But don’t push yourself too hard or beat yourself up for your past.

Instead, concentrate on creating a more meaningful, more fulfilling, more soft and gentle and easygoing life for yourself and your family.

Thank you for stopping by!

Oh, I absolutely agree! :)

As I move forward into 2013, my word is commitment, which means I’m choosing what to commit to consciously and purposefully and as I move in my commitments, I will take baby steps to succeeding in them. I find that supremely scary, but nothing comes from doing the same thing and expecting different results. So I’ll be with you on the scary, but successful 2013! :) Happy New Year!

A joy of the retired life is there is no need for goals . Time is mine.

Hi, Monica! You may be retired, but surely there are things that you want to do, things you want to try, things you want to explore, things you want to learn? Goal doesn’t have to be a four-letter word! It can be a fun thing, too! Wishing you a happy retirement and a prosperous 2013!

Hi Anne,Hmmmm you do inspire me with your blog. My goal for this year is a cross between an Art Journel/ 365 Grateful/Smash book. I plan to add something to it each day for a year starting on Jan 01 2013. so far I have a quote & two day entries. I think I may have to do some doodling today :) This book was inpart inspired by you, so Thank you Anne. I will probably do a blog entry on it at a later date when I have something more to share. Happy New Year to you Anne
