Speckled Thanks Card

Speckled Thanks Card

Hi there! Today I’d like to share another clean-and-simple (CAS) thank you card.

To make this card, I started with a piece of pale blue cardstock. I stamped an ornament from Hero Arts CL401 Speckled Ornaments clear set. I stamped it three times, to form a column, using Weathered Wood Distress Ink.

Then, I trimmed the blue cardstock to be slightly smaller than the white card base. I rounded the corners of the blue panel and dry embossed it with my Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Next, I stamped the “thanks” sentiment from Hero Arts CL267 Card Messages using black ink. To finish the card, I adhered the blue panel to the white card base and added a sheer blue bow.

Thanks for stopping by!

a lovely card Anne. I like the colours. I recently got the Weathered Wood ink and really like it.
