Thank you cards don’t have to be complicated

Starburst Thanks Card

Starburst Thanks Card

Hello! All this week, I am going to be sharing thank you cards with you. After the holidays, I usually find my stash of thank yous depleted – so I like to make more and stock up!

My best tip for making thank you cards is to keep it simple. You want the sentiment – the “thanks” – to shine. Thank yous are more about the gesture of acknowledging the other person’s gift or kind gesture – and not about the card itself.

For this card, I used Tsukineko Brilliance pearlescent ink on Hero Arts S5317 Starburst Lace stamp. I love the subtle shine of the pearlescent ink – and this pretty lace stamp is all the adornment this card needs.

The large “Thanks” sentiment is from Hero Arts CL301 Hugs and Hearts and is stamped using the same Brilliance pearlescent ink. The focal panel is matted using dark, chocolate brown, and mounted to a textured teal card base.

Thanks for stopping by!
