Hi there! Today I’m announcing my challenge for July!
July’s Theme is Animals!
I will be donating $30 in the name of this month’s randomly selected winner (or the name of their choice, like a daughter or father) to Bernie Berlin’s “A Place to Bark.” A Place to Bark is a no-kill foster and adoption rescue dedicated to the welfare of animals and founded by Bernie Berlin in 2001. It is entirely supported by private donations and the proceeds of Bernie Berlin’s art, including these collage sheets.
July’s challenge rules:
- Create a new project (card, scrapbook page, ATC, felting, quilt block, mixed media canvas, whatever) using animals! (You can combine my challenge with other challenges if you’d like.)
- Upload your project to your blog or to Flickr (or some other similar Web site) and figure out the exact URL of that page. Cut and paste the exact URL into the Inlinkz tool below.
- Enter as many times as you’d like!
- The challenge runs through Monday, July 19th, at 12:00 midnight EST. (The Inlinkz tool will automatically close when the challenge has ended.)
- A randomly selected winner will be announced on Friday, July 23rd. I will be donating $30 to A Place to Bark in the randomly selected winner’s name (or the name of their choice).
More about A Place to Bark:
This video is from last year, but it gives you a good introduction to A Place to Bark. Founder Bernie Berlin is an artist and an author. She wrote the book Artist Trading Card Workshop: Create, Collect, Swap (not an affiliate link).
Have fun!
And thanks for stopping by!

Hi Anne, I’ve been a fan of Bernie Berlin and A Place to Bark for years. As a matter of fact, her book “Artist Trading Card Workshop” is sitting in front of me on my desk. I love perusing it when I need some fresh inspiration. Thanks for sharing her wonderful animal rescue organization.
bless you,
nancy
Great idea for a challenge and what a wonderful prize… Perfect. Off to think what I can do….
What a great cause Anne! Thanks for pointing it out.
Thanks Anne for supporting such great causes!
Fabulous theme and perfect prize to match.
What a wonderful challenge for such a great cause Anne! I’ll have to see if I can come up with something. I’m in the middle of packing and haven’t been able to do alot lately, but I’d really love to participate in this one!
Great Challenge Anne,
Thought I would enter, with this darn heat, I was indoors all day, so I made both of these today. May enter a few more times, as you can tell I like animals!!
Hope you are doing well. Are you feeling a lot better?
Take care for now,
Donna
